California is one of the top state in the country for producing the energy through the solar power. When you want to install the solar power production in your house, you need more money but it is the easiest way for preserving power.
Only the families from middle to upper income can afford for installing the solar arrays as it is necessary to have upfront $15,000 costs. The novel initiative changes constantly so there are many families who could not afford to buy the solar panels. Since the costs of the solar panels are high, it is the major disadvantage among the communities for seeing the sun into different light.
The Grid Alternatives project has its main aim to fight for the global warming so they get the air polluting companies for installing the solar panels on their company’s roofs. The project also uses the money that is raised by government for installing the roof panels in the best manner. The San Francisco Chronicle also reports that the goal of the project is to produce cap-and-trade money that will be raised by California state from companies who needs to pay more money per ton of minerals such as carbon dioxide that is emitted. There is no disadvantage cost for the families.
The Grid Alternatives also aims at $162 million for the Single-family Affordable Solar Homes (SASH) project and it is the top country’s dedicated solar repayment system that is made for the low income families. The solar arrays can be installed to 1,600 homes by 2016 and this also made positive reception among the people. The costs of giving the solar panels for the people are made as low as possible so that there are many job-training programs conducted along with donations from solar companies. Installing the solar panels in the houses are also made free of charge so they ask the families to help for installing the panels or feed the crew members.
The State Government of California also raised $14.7 million through cap-and-trade system as it aims for curbing the greenhouse gas emissions for using them for installing the solar arrays. The cap-and-trade system also totted $1.6 billion in total which is quite impressive.
About 10% the money back are made in the solar so the project also aims for gaining saving more time and money through the process. One is saving the money of lower income families and also saving the companies that are polluting big fossil fuel for cutting the energy emissions.
The families who are currently living in the California neighborhood can also get the qualification for applying for installing the solar arrays in their house. The Grid Alternatives also predicts that through this manner, it will be possible for saving power up to $1,000 per individual families a year so that they could spend the money for the food and other essentials. The project is most anticipated by the people of California and they can apply for the solar power panels from the government.
