Three double-degree students at MU’s College of Management and Toulouse University’s College of Management, an electric tuk-tuk and one goal: travel from Bangkok to Paris using only green energy. Karen, Ludwig e Remy, three guys aged from 23 to 28, are expected to arrive in the French capital in time for the United Nation Climate Change Conference (COP 21) in December.
This Zero Emission Vehicle will travel across two continents thanks to the solar panels on the roof, a 70v, 30kW per hour lithium battery, which can travel 200km when fully charged, which takes six to eight hour. Moreover, the estimated cost of the journey is less than 500$.
The meaning of the journey is demonstrating the enormous possibilities that technology offers us and that are still unexploited: solar vehicles can be as reliable as traditional cars, but at the same time they are able to reduce emission to zero.
